This MIG filler wire is available in sizes such as 0.030″, 0.035″, and 0.045″ diameter. It offers excellent corrosion resistance and is ideal for welding stainless steels with high molybdenum content. Its low carbon content helps minimize carbide precipitation.
Available in diameters like 1/16″, 3/32″, and 1/8″, this TIG filler wire provides superior corrosion resistance. It is suitable for welding similar stainless steel alloys and maintains a low carbon content to prevent carbide formation.
Typically offered in sizes of 1/16″, 3/32″, and 1/8″ diameter, this filler rod is known for its excellent resistance to corrosion and high strength. It’s designed for use in TIG welding applications requiring enhanced resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.
AWS Class ER317L MIG and TIG filler wires and rods are made from austenitic stainless steels, featuring around 18–20% chromium, 12–14% nickel, and 3% molybdenum. The low carbon content (L grade) helps reduce carbide precipitation, boosting resistance to intergranular corrosion. Added elements like manganese and silicon enhance strength and weldability. These consumables deliver outstanding tensile strength, ductility, and toughness, along with excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance. They also provide smooth arc characteristics, stable weld deposition, and minimal spatter, making them perfect for joining austenitic stainless steels in challenging environments.
AWS Class ER317L MIG and TIG filler wires and rods are commonly used for welding austenitic stainless steels that face highly corrosive conditions. They are especially effective for chemical processing equipment, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, marine components, and stainless-steel piping systems. Their remarkable corrosion resistance makes them ideal for applications involving acids, chlorides, or high temperatures. These consumables are also utilized in the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food processing industries, ensuring reliable performance in demanding situations.
