Stainless Steel 410s are carbon-free stainless steel, made primarily from 11.5-13.5% chromium and up to 0.15% carbon. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, excellent durability and high strength, making it suitable for a variety of applications such as automotive components and kitchen appliances The reduced carbon content increases its weldability compared to other 410 grades Benefits include excellent mechanical properties, resistance to corrosion and oxidation and memorably sharp edges. However, it is not as corrosion resistant as stainless steel with high chromium content.
